I'm Kelsey Heikkinen — a wife, a Coloradan, and a Pueblo resident who finally had enough of watching our communities get talked about instead of taken care of.
I'm running as an unaffiliated write-in candidate for Governor of Colorado in 2026 because the people in office keep making promises they don't keep. Drugs in our neighborhoods. Seniors getting taken advantage of. Stray animals nobody answers for. None of it is getting fixed by waiting for the next election cycle to come around.
This campaign isn't about me. It's about the working families in Pueblo, the ranchers on the Eastern Plains, the small-business owners on the Western Slope, and every Coloradan who wants their state to feel safe, affordable, and honest again.
I don't owe anything to a party or a donor list. That's the point. When you write in "Kelsey Heikkinen" on November 3, 2026, you're sending a message that Colorado belongs to the people who live here.
